What does this adapter do?

The Blitzsafe BMW/MLink V.1 DSP allows you to add an iPod Gen3, Gen4, Photo, Video, Mini, or Nano to your compatible, DSP equipped, factory installed audio system.

Other application notes:

The Blitzsafe BMW/MLink V.1 DSP requires that your vehicle is equipped with factory DSP.

If present, your rear mounted CD Changer must be disconnected to use this device.

Where is the installation done?

The Blitzsafe BMW/MLink V.1 DSP connects to the 3 pin and the coaxial cables(s) in the rear of the vehicle. (NOTE: The center wire in your 3 pin connector MUST be RED and not GRAY. If your wire is GRAY, you have located the wrong connector.)
