What does this adapter do?

The PIE CHRY04/PC-POD2 uses the RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) in your Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep CAN-BUS radio to allow you to connect your iPod Mini, G4, G5, Nano, Classic, or Touch, to your compatible factory installed audio system. With the PIE CHRY04/PC-POD2, you can control many iPod functions from your factory radio, steering wheel controls or the iPod's own clickwheel. Your factory radio will NOT display ipod information but your iPod's battery WILL charge while connected.

PIE's iPod adapters feature connectors supplied BY Apple, and PIE is authorized by Apple to manufacture iPod compatible devices!

If the factory Sirius Satellite Radio is present, it will NOT be affected!

Where is the installation done?

The PIE CHRY04-PC-POD2 connects to the 22 and 10 pin connectors at the rear of the factory radio.
