What does this adapter do?

The PIE PIO/P-3.5M will allow you to add an auxiliary audio source to your Pioneer radio with CD Changer controls. If your Pioneer head unit has a 'p' in its model number, then this adapter is compatible with your Pioneer radio.

Other application notes:

  • The PIE PIO/P-3.5M provides a 3.5mm male, stereo plug to connect to your iPod or other player.
  • The PIE PIO/P-3.5M is about 6 feet long.
  • The PIE PIO.P-3.5M requires you to disconnect your Pioneer CD Changer, if present.

    • Where is the installation done?

    The PIE PIO/P-3.5M connects to the CD Changer connector at the rear of the Pioneer 'ip-bus' radio.
